South Station was where I arrived when I first moved to Boston so I have been looking forward to drawing it. When I moved, I had taken an overnight bus from my hometown of Ithaca, New York with two suitcases in hand and four boxes on the way via USPS.
This is also my nod to Os Gemeos, the graffiti artists who created the mural of this fellow with a head scarf in Dewey Square. I am a huge admirer of their work and I am excited that we get to enjoy it in Boston!

Project T Scapes is an ongoing venture in which I visit every stop on Boston's subway system and create a small marker sketch. Each sketch is a snapshot of the neighborhood or station as I find it. I will be recording my progress with this blog so check back and see where I am! All original artwork copyright © Laura Meilman. More of my work is posted on my blog .
